Emergency Department – Night Shift RN
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work a 12-hour night shift (7 PM – 7:30 AM) every other weekend in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Schedule & Guarantee
- 12-hour night shifts, 7 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend rotation
- 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (excludes on-call time)
- Biweekly orientation cohorts available
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2+ years of emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Ability to independently interpret cardiac monitor strips (no monitor tech support)
- Proficiency with the facility's charting system
- Pass a clinical competency assessment on day one (single attempt)
- Pass Relias online assessments during onboarding (two attempts permitted)
Additional Information
- Open to floating to partner facilities as needed
- Candidates who have worked with this organization within the last 6 months (in any capacity) are not eligible
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
