Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Med-Surg Telemetry. This is a float pool position working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with weekends and holidays required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on med-surg telemetry units
- Float to all med-surg telemetry floors and overflow areas as assigned
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Documented professional development activities
- Ability to pass telemetry competency exam
Important Testing & Onboarding
You will be required to pass an ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test via Zoom within 48 hours of receiving an offer. These are pass/fail exams (one attempt only; 85% passing score) with no opportunity for remediation. Study materials will be provided.
Contract Details
- 13 weeks (start date: October 5, 2026)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Biweekly orientation
- All requests for time off must be submitted at time of application
Note: Candidates who have worked at this facility as travel, permanent, or per diem staff within the past six months are not eligible. A six-month separation is required.
