Med/Surg Telemetry – 12-Hour Evening Shift
The Opportunity
The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work 12-hour evening shifts, every other weekend, with a guaranteed minimum of 72 hours biweekly.
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, monitoring patients with continuous cardiac monitoring and managing a range of acute care needs. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
What We're Looking For
- Current BLS-AHA and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Separated from your most recent employer for 6+ months and in good standing
- Willingness to complete competency testing during orientation
Onboarding
You'll complete a day-one pass/fail competency assessment at orientation (one attempt). You'll also have two attempts to complete required compliance testing during your onboarding period.

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: October 5, 2026
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No float requirement outside your assigned unit
