Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Float Pool

Position Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Weekends and holidays expected
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Location: Plymouth, MA

Role Overview

This is a float pool position on the facility's medical-surgical telemetry units. You'll provide care across all med-surg tele floors and may be assigned to overflow areas and like units as census needs arise.

Requirements

• Current RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass telemetry competency exam
• Documented professional development activities
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Onboarding & Testing

You must pass two mandatory assessments during onboarding:

• ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test (85% score required to pass)
• One attempt only — no remediation or re-sits offered
• Tests administered via Zoom prior to assignment start
• Must complete within 48 hours of offer
• Study guide provided; time to prepare is recommended

Orientation

Biweekly schedule; manager will coordinate interview availability and scheduling.

• All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application
• Candidates must have a 6-month separation from any previous facility assignments to be considered
