Registered Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry Float Pool
Position Overview
The facility is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a 13-week night shift float pool assignment covering medical-surgical telemetry units. This is a dynamic role requiring flexibility and strong clinical skills across multiple patient populations.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 72 guaranteed hours biweekly
- Expectations: Weekends and holidays required; float to all med-surg telemetry floors and overflow areas as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license
- Minimum 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- AHABLS certification (current)
- Ability to pass telemetry competency exam
Pre-Assignment Testing
You will be required to pass ECG/telemetry and medications assessments via Zoom within 48 hours of your offer. An 85% passing score is required; this is a one-attempt-only evaluation with no opportunity for remediation. A study guide will be provided to support your preparation.
Orientation
Biweekly orientation begins upon start date. Charge nurse experience is preferred.
Important Notes
- Candidates who have worked at this facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last six months are not eligible. A six-month separation is required.
