Registered Nurse

Progressive Care / Cardiac IMC Nurse — Night Shift | Atlanta, GA

Contract: 14 weeks | Start: October 5, 2026

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hours guaranteed per week

This PCU/IMCU opportunity focuses on a specialized cardiac population in a dedicated progressive care environment. Nurses in this role manage intermediate-to-high acuity patients and must be comfortable with a fast-paced cardiac workflow.

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain presentations
• Administration of cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• May float to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity cardiac patients

Schedule & Structure

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong cardiac assessment and hemodynamic monitoring skills essential

This is a long-term travel assignment well suited for an experienced PCU or cardiac step-down nurse who thrives in a high-acuity, team-driven environment.
