Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Join a float pool team in a medical-surgical telemetry role at the facility in Cambridge, MA. You'll provide care across multiple units, including MS telemetry, progressive care, ICU, and emergency department, supporting medical-surgical patients with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts (day/evening rotation)
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly across all assignments (excludes on-call time)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients on telemetry across multiple units
• Manage medical-surgical border patients
• Adapt quickly between different clinical environments
• Provide direct patient care, medication administration, and patient education

Requirements

• 2+ years of medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Strong telemetry expertise and comfort with frequent unit transitions
• Must have been separated from previous employer for 6+ months minimum
