Radiation Therapist — Radiation Oncology | Morgantown, WV
This 13-week contract (with a 91-week potential) places a Radiation Therapist in an active Radiation Oncology department serving a mixed adult and pediatric patient population. Pediatric cases are minimal but present.
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 5×8-hour shifts (4×10 may be available)
- No weekend, holiday, or call/standby requirements
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Clinical Scope
- Deliver treatments using IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT techniques
- Manage approximately 25 patients per linear accelerator per day
- Support 6–9 CT simulation patients daily
- No IV starts required; no float to other departments
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration (Radiation Therapy)
- Active West Virginia state license
- BLS certification
- Hands-on experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
- Proficiency with Varian linear accelerators (TrueBeam experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Varian treatment planning/information systems

- Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; 1 shift for shorter assignments
- Candidate's primary residence must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
