Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Shift & Schedule

12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.

Position Overview

This is a float pool position covering medical-surgical telemetry floors. You'll manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and care, floating to like units and overflow areas as needed.

Key Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of med-surg telemetry experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Documented professional development activities
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Required Testing

You must pass an ECG/telemetry competency exam and medications test before assignment. Testing is administered via Zoom within 48 hours of offer. The passing score is 85%, with one attempt only — no remediation available. Preparation materials will be provided.

Onboarding

Biweekly orientation. Interview and placement determined by the Nurse Manager.

• If you have worked at this facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) within the last six months, you must have a six-month separation before applying
