Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract on a general medical-surgical telemetry unit. This is a night shift role with every-other-weekend scheduling.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 72 hours guaranteed biweekly (excludes on-call time)
- No float requirement
- Start date: October 5, 2026 (minimum 4 weeks out)
Unit Details
You'll work on a medical-surgical telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with acute conditions, complex comorbidities, and a range of diagnoses. The team prioritizes effective communication, sound time management, and quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license (required at time of application)
- Current telemetry experience
- Medical-surgical nursing background preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records
- Ability to manage multiple patients with varying acuity levels
Pre-Acceptance Requirements
Two proctored assessments via Zoom (scheduled within 48 hours of offer):
- ECG/Telemetry knowledge test
- Medication test

Biweekly orientation schedule. Interview scheduling: please provide your available dates and times at submission, along with any requested time off.
Note: Candidates who have worked at this facility as permanent, per diem, or contract staff within the past six months are not eligible.
