Medical Surgical Telemetry RN – Float Pool

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract position in a float pool role. You'll work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend, with a guaranteed 72 hours biweekly.

Unit & Clinical Scope

You'll float across multiple med-surg telemetry units, progressive care, ICU, and emergency department settings, primarily caring for medical-surgical boarders. Strong telemetry monitoring skills are essential, as you'll be deployed to high-volume, acute-care environments requiring flexibility and clinical adaptability.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Must have been separated from previous assignments for at least 6 months
• Float pool experience or willingness to adapt to varied unit environments

What You Need to Know

This is a committed float assignment—your strong telemetry background and ability to function independently across different units are critical. The night shift schedule includes every-other-weekend coverage. The 72-hour biweekly guarantee does not include on-call time.
