Emergency Department – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking experienced RNs for night shifts. You'll care for acutely ill and injured patients across all age groups—from newborns to geriatric patients—managing high-acuity conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
Shift & Schedule
- 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (4 x 12-hour shifts)
- 48 hours per week
- 16-week contract
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
- Floating required
Clinical Scope
This is a fast-paced environment where you'll work with diverse patient populations and specialty equipment. Charge nurse capability is highly preferred.
Requirements
- 2+ years ED experience with pediatric exposure
- Current travel nursing experience required
- Active New York RN license
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Navy blue scrubs
- Driver's license with matching address
