Registered Nurse

NICU Registered Nurse (RN) Level III

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks (36 guaranteed hours per week)

Start Date: October 5, 2026

The facility's Level III NICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill and medically complex neonates. You'll work independently managing high-acuity infants, including those requiring advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care to premature and critically ill neonates requiring complex interventions
• Manage infants on ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen systems
• Care for patients receiving therapeutic hypothermia
• Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical arterial and venous catheters, and other invasive devices
• Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
• Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments and respond quickly to clinical deterioration
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team
• Support families with education and emotional guidance

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS and NRP certifications
• 3–4+ years of hands-on Level III NICU experience
• Demonstrated expertise with therapeutic cooling
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
