Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool — Night Shift
The Opportunity
Join the med-surg float pool at the facility, working nights across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units. You'll provide care to acute med-surg patients while maintaining flexibility to support unit needs across the service line.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Commitment: 1 shift per week OR 2 shifts every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: At least 1 holiday per contract
- Block Scheduling: Available upon request (not guaranteed)
- Contract Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
What You'll Do
Float across med-surg and telemetry units, delivering patient-centered care in an acute-care setting. You'll be flexible and responsive to facility scheduling needs and unit staffing demands.
What We're Looking For
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 2+ years recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing in a hospital setting
- 2+ years of U.S. work experience (required for international candidates)
- Flexibility and a collaborative approach to floating assignments
- Residence more than 50 miles from the facility
