Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week night shift assignment on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. This is a dynamic complex care environment where you'll deliver nursing care to acute med/surg and telemetry patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Availability: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Weekends: 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Minimum 1 holiday per contract
- Start Date: October 27, 2026
Qualifications
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent acute med/surg/tele experience (2 years U.S. work experience required for international candidates)
- Preferred: 2+ years recent med/surg/tele experience
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a complex med/surg/tele setting
- Float to other units as needed to support facility operations
- Willing to serve in charge nurse capacity (training provided if needed)
- Flexibility to adjust schedule according to facility needs
Requirements
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Flexibility with scheduling and potential block booking requests
- Reliable, adaptable approach to changing patient census and acuity
