Night Shift Med/Surg Tele RN — 16-Week Contract
About the Role
Join the medical/surgical telemetry unit for a 16-week night assignment. You'll provide care to a complex patient population in a fast-paced environment, managing patients across the acuity spectrum with real-time cardiac monitoring capabilities.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 12-hour nights (7 PM–7 AM)
- Weekly Options: 36 or 48 hours
- Weekends: 1 shift per week, or 2 shifts every other weekend
- Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
- Flexibility: Schedule adjustments based on facility needs; block booking may be available but is not guaranteed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license and AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
- For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work history required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
- Ability and willingness to work charge nurse duties (training provided if needed)
