Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
The Opportunity
Join a medical-surgical telemetry unit for a 16-week night shift assignment. You'll provide direct patient care on a complex care unit managing acute medical and surgical patients with telemetry monitoring.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
- Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: At least 1 holiday during the contract
- Flexibility: Schedule adjustments based on facility needs; block booking available upon request
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care in an acute med-surg telemetry setting
- Float to other units as needed
- Willing to work as charge nurse (training provided if needed)
- Adapt to facility scheduling requirements
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry
- *For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of U.S. work experience required*
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Preferred: 2 years recent med-surg/telemetry experience
