Night Shift RN – Med/Tele Complex Care
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its medical/telemetry unit on the night shift (7 PM–7 AM). This is a 16-week contract role on a complex care unit serving patients with acute medical and cardiac monitoring needs.
Schedule & Staffing
- 12-hour night shifts: 7 PM–7 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week (flexible options)
- Weekend commitment: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
- Minimum 1 holiday shift required during contract
- Float to other units as needed
- Block booking may be available but is not guaranteed
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute hospital experience
- At least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work history required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Role Details
- Charge nurse experience preferred; willing to work charge; training provided
- Must demonstrate flexibility with scheduling changes
- Candidates should be adaptable and collaborative with the care team
