Night Shift RN – Medical/Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for a 16-week contract on a medical/telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care on the night shift in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Schedule & Hours

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7 PM – 7 AM) with 7 AM – 7 PM rotation availability
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours (your preference)
• Weekends: 1 shift per week or 2 shifts every other weekend
• Holidays: Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 112 hours per week across the 16-week contract

Clinical Details

Medical/telemetry unit serving acute care patients. You'll manage medication administration, monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to patient needs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Float assignments to other units may be required based on facility needs. Charge nurse responsibilities available; training provided if needed.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute medical/surgical or telemetry nursing
• (Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work experience required)
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred

• 2+ years recent med/surg/tele experience
