Med Surg Tele

Med/Surg Telemetry RN — Complex Care Unit | Rochester, NY | Nights | 16-Week Contract

This complex care med/surg telemetry unit manages a diverse patient population requiring close monitoring and skilled nursing assessment. The unit handles moderate-to-high acuity medical and telemetry patients and requires nurses who are confident working independently and adapting to a dynamic caseload.

Shift & Scheduling

• 12-hour nights with a rotating start time (7P–7A / 3A–3P)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• 1 weekend shift per week, or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• At least 1 holiday required per contract
• Must be flexible to the facility's scheduling needs; block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed

Float & Charge

• Float to other units as needed
• Charge nurse experience preferred; training provided if needed

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience with at least 1 recent year in med/surg or telemetry
• Non-U.S. candidates must have 2 years of U.S. clinical work history
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
