Emergency Department – RN (Night Shift)
About the Role
Join a dynamic, high-acuity Emergency Department offering specialized geriatric emergency care. You'll work in a modern, collaborative environment with experienced clinical staff and strong leadership committed to quality patient outcomes. This unit holds ACEP accreditation for geriatric emergency services.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts: 3P–3A or 7P–7A rotation
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating blocked schedule available (or fixed block: Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon if preferred)
- Weekend requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week, or two shifts every other weekend
- Must work at least one holiday during the contract
- On-call highly recommended (not required): 2 hours per week average, available in 4/8/12/16-hour blocks between 7P–7A
Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- NIH and AHA BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years recent emergency nursing experience
- Non-U.S. candidates: 2 years U.S. work history required
- Reside more than 50 miles from the facility
