Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Rochester, NY

This high-acuity Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency care, including a specialized geriatric emergency program. The unit is staffed by an experienced, collaborative team with strong clinical leadership and a consistent focus on quality patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Nights, 12-hour shifts: rotating 3P–3A / 7P–7A
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts)
• One weekend shift per contracted week, or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• Minimum one holiday shift per contract
• Blocked scheduling available (rotating or fixed blocks: Thu/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon)

On-Call

Not required, but available and encouraged. Optional call averages 2 hours per contracted week; shifts run 7P–7A and can be picked up in 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16-hour blocks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for internationally trained candidates
• Active New York RN license
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• AHA BLS certification
