Contract Details
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour rotations on a day/evening schedule (7 AM–7 PM, 11 AM–11 PM, or 3 PM–3 AM)
- Hours: 48 hours/week preferred; 36-hour contracts considered
- Weekends: 2 per scheduling period
About the Unit
This is a high-volume Emergency Department managing a fast-paced, diverse patient population. The unit operates across multiple care areas and routinely sees a high daily patient census. Travelers are expected to float to the Psychiatric ED and Pediatric ED (patients 15 and older; prior pedi experience preferred but not required for the 15+ population).
Note: Travelers are not assigned to trauma rooms during this contract.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I or II ED experience, OR
- 2+ years of recent Level III/IV ED experience
- Must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, including identifying heart blocks
- Must pass a Telemetry Competency Test (85% or higher) on Day 1
Required Certifications (must be active/unexpired)
- BLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- PALS
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel assignment experience
- Critical care background

- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will be compensated at a local rate
