Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, 8-hour day shift role. This is a 13-week contract with no weekend or major holiday commitments.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • 40 hours per week
  • No weekends
  • No major holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology, OR Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology plus 2 years of experience
  • Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT [NM])
  • At least one advanced certification: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion imaging)
  • NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with attention to cross-sectional anatomy and proper technique
  • Operate Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
  • Interact professionally with patients and colleagues
  • Maintain safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate strong time management and independent work skills
