Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, 8-hour day shift role. This is a 13-week contract with no weekend or major holiday commitments.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends
- No major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology, OR Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology plus 2 years of experience
- Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT [NM])
- At least one advanced certification: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/Optical fusion imaging)
- NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with attention to cross-sectional anatomy and proper technique
- Operate Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Interact professionally with patients and colleagues
- Maintain safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate strong time management and independent work skills
