Surgical Services OR Position
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is a 24/7 surgical hub performing a diverse range of procedures across 17 operating rooms. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting general, gynecologic, urologic, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, cardiac, thoracic, trauma, spine, bariatric, plastic, pediatric, oral, otolaryngologic, and podiatric surgeries. Robotic-assisted procedures are also performed.
Schedule & Staffing
- Shift: 12-hour day/evening rotation
- Start Times: 7 AM (days) or 9 AM / 11 AM (evenings)
- Rotation: Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday
- On-call: 1x per schedule
- Float Potential: May be assigned to other surgical areas as needed
- Duration: 14 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years inpatient OR experience
- Scrub experience required
- Competency in at least 5 surgical specialties
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Ideal Candidate
You thrive in a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment. You're flexible, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary surgical teams. Experience in neuro and vascular cases is preferred, as is breadth beyond general, GYN, and GU scrubbing.
