Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a high-volume IR suite. You'll support complex procedures including acute stroke interventions, trauma cases, vascular interventions, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Schedule & Commitment
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (primary 10-hour schedule)
- Flexibility: Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts as needed
- On-Call: Nights, weekends, and one major holiday with 30-minute callback time
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
Requirements
- 2+ years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Demonstrated expertise in neuro (acute strokes), trauma, and vascular procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Catheterization Lab experience preferred (Impella, telemetry, IABP)
What You'll Do
Prepare and maintain equipment, assist physicians with guidewire and catheter placement, manage patient positioning and monitoring, and ensure sterile technique throughout high-acuity procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment managing time-sensitive cases.
