Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-acuity cardiac interventional team. This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift & Schedule

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • Combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
  • On-call for nights, weekends, and one major holiday
  • 30-minute call-back time

Clinical Requirements

You'll support advanced cardiac procedures including Impella support, IABP management, and telemetry monitoring. You must:

  • Independently read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Pass a telemetry competency exam (85% or higher) on day 1
  • Demonstrate 2–3 years of direct Cath Lab experience

Required Certifications & Credentials

  • ARRT or RCIS
  • Current Massachusetts medical technician license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • Experience in a high-acuity cardiac program

  • 13-week assignment
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week
