Position Overview

Join the rehabilitation team at the facility in Moore, OK, for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), 8-hour days, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Clinical Responsibilities

You'll screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. Your work includes:

• Developing individualized plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Administering manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device training
• Providing wound care and ambulation support
• Assessing patient progress and adjusting treatments to optimize outcomes
• Counseling patients, families, and caregivers on physical disorders and home management
• Documenting treatment in the electronic health record per regulatory standards
• Participating in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervising physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed

Requirements

• Valid Oklahoma PT license
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience (new graduates welcome if you completed a Level II clinical experience, not just observation)
• Long-term care or rehabilitation setting experience required
• Adherence to APTA practice standards and state regulations
