Registered Nurse

Long-Term Care RN — West Burlington, IA

13-Week Contract | Afternoons/Evenings

This travel RN role is within a long-term care setting, focusing on elder-centered nursing care. You'll provide routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident's individualized assessment and care plan, while working closely with the RN Manager to support smooth day-to-day unit operations.

Shift & Schedule

• Primary shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Occasional night shift coverage may be required (10:45 PM – 6:45 AM)
• 40 hours per week; every other weekend rotation required
• Contract duration: 13 weeks | Start date: August 3, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Deliver person-centered nursing care to an elder/long-term care population
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans
• High familiarity with LTC workflows and resident-focused care expected

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Long-term care charting experience within the last 12 months required
• Iowa-based role; Iowa RN license (or compact eligibility) required

Onboarding Compliance

Candidates must complete health documentation (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB test, fit test, health statement), background check, drug screen, skills checklist, education verification, and driver's license/state ID verification prior to start.
