Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse — West Burlington, IA
13-Week Travel Contract | PM Shift
This LTC travel nursing role is a 13-week contract providing direct resident care in a long-term care setting. You'll work closely with the RN Manager to support day-to-day clinical operations and deliver personalized, resident-centered nursing care guided by individualized assessments and care plans.
Shift & Schedule
- Primary shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Occasional night shift coverage may be required (10:45 PM – 6:45 AM)
- 40 hours per week, guaranteed
- Every other weekend rotation required
Clinical Scope
- Provide routine daily nursing care aligned with each resident's assessment, preferences, and care plan
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain quality of care across a long-term care population
- Support residents across varying acuity levels in a skilled nursing environment
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Prior LTC nursing experience required
- Electronic health record experience in a long-term care setting within the last 12 months required
Onboarding Health Requirements
COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza vaccine, TB test, fit test, health statement, drug screen, and color vision assessment required prior to start.
Background check, education verification, skills checklist, and reference verification also required.
