Electrophysiology Nurse

The Opportunity

The facility's electrophysiology department is seeking an experienced nurse to provide direct patient care during a variety of EP procedures in a teaching hospital setting.

Schedule & Duration

  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Monday – Friday (no weekends)
  • Every other holiday as needed; no on-call
  • 13-week contract
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

You will care for patients undergoing:

  • Ablations and cryoablation
  • EP studies
  • Cardioversions
  • Cardiac device implants and explants
  • Other electrophysiology procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Recent, hands-on experience in electrophysiology (devices, EP studies, ablations, PVI)
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Must pass on-site telemetry competency exam with 85% or higher
  • Strong assessment and monitoring skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
