Electrophysiology Nurse
The Opportunity
The facility's electrophysiology department is seeking an experienced nurse to provide direct patient care during a variety of EP procedures in a teaching hospital setting.
Schedule & Duration
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Monday – Friday (no weekends)
- Every other holiday as needed; no on-call
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Clinical Scope
You will care for patients undergoing:
- Ablations and cryoablation
- EP studies
- Cardioversions
- Cardiac device implants and explants
- Other electrophysiology procedures
Required Qualifications
- Recent, hands-on experience in electrophysiology (devices, EP studies, ablations, PVI)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Must pass on-site telemetry competency exam with 85% or higher
- Strong assessment and monitoring skills in a fast-paced procedural environment
