Physical Therapist – Acute Care Rehab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist to join its acute care rehabilitation team. You'll work with patients recovering from acute illness and injury, providing evidence-based therapy in a dynamic clinical environment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Friday–Monday, 10-hour days (7:30 AM–6 PM)
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract Duration: 91 weeks
- Float: As needed to nearby facilities
- Holidays: Work holidays that fall on your regular scheduled days
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years acute care rehabilitation experience
- North Carolina Physical Therapist License
- Current BLS Certification
- ICU experience preferred
What You'll Do
Deliver physical therapy services to acute care patients in a rehabilitative setting. You'll assess, treat, and progress patients through therapy protocols, collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

A structured 4-day work week with 30-minute lunch breaks built into your shift. Float assignments to nearby facilities keep the role dynamic while expanding your clinical exposure.
