Position Overview

Join the rehabilitation team at the facility in Lewistown, MO, where you'll evaluate and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. You'll develop individualized plans of care grounded in evidence-based practice and regulatory standards, then assess progress and adjust treatments accordingly.

What You'll Do

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Administer therapeutic interventions including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care
• Utilize standardized assessments to guide clinical decision-making
• Document treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient progress
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation planning
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants and students
• Maintain accurate documentation of all regulatory and clinical requirements
• Attend required trainings, in-services, and facility meetings

Requirements

• Current Missouri State License
• 1+ year of physical therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• APTA compliance and adherence to state practice acts

*New graduates welcome with documented Level II clinical experience.*

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days)
• Flexible start/end times with supervisor approval
• No weekend work unless a holiday falls Monday–Friday; compensatory hours may be made up on weekends
• No on-call requirements

• 13 weeks
• Start date: October 5, 2026
• Guaranteed hours available
