OR RN – Operating Room
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week contract in a high-acuity operating room environment. You'll work 10-hour day shifts on a 10x4 schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with on-call responsibilities including weekends and holidays.
About the Role
This is a busy surgical environment requiring strong clinical skills across multiple specialties. You'll support complex procedures including neuro and vascular cases in a Level 1 trauma setting. No block scheduling—assignments vary by OR needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of practice)
- Previous travel nursing or contract experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- High competency rating on skills checklist, including neuro and vascular procedures
- Proficiency with Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard
- Access to electronic devices for app-based communication and scheduling
- Availability for call, weekends, and holidays
