ICU / Critical Care RN — Night Shift | Boston, MA
13-Week Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
This medical ICU opportunity in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced critical care RN for a night shift contract beginning October 2026.
Schedule
- 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Patient Population & Clinical Scope
The unit cares for high-acuity medical ICU patients, including those presenting with respiratory failure, renal disease, alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac arrest, and GI bleeds.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent MICU/ICU experience
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Telemetry competency assessment on day one
- Active ACLS certification
- Current RN licensure (Massachusetts or compact)
Preferred Skills
- Radial artery sticks
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- CCRN certification
- Blood draws and peripheral IV skills
