Medical-Surgical Travel Nurse | Nights | Sioux City, IA
This 13-week contract places you on a Medical-Surgical unit providing direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role involves managing a general med-surg patient population with varying acuity, including patients requiring heparin drip management.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (1900 start)
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Every third weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- 36-hour weekly guarantee
Float Requirements
You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
- Electronic health record experience required
- Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates accepted)
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Heparin drip experience
Additional Details
- First-time travelers welcome
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license address)
- State of Iowa RN license required
