Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist to screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs. You'll develop individualized care plans grounded in evidence-based practice and regulatory standards, then assess progress and modify treatments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standardized patient assessments and clinical evaluations
- Administer rehabilitation procedures: manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care
- Document treatment outcomes and adjust interventions based on patient response
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
- Communicate clearly with the care team about progress, barriers, and treatment plans
- Prepare discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic documentation system
- Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
- Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides
- Adhere to APTA standards and Missouri practice acts
Requirements
- Active Missouri State License
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience (new graduates welcome with Level II clinical experience)
- Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
Schedule
No on-call. No weekend requirements.
