NICU RN — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week contract, working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 days per week. Start date: early October 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Weekend coverage required (typically every third weekend; may adjust based on unit needs)
- Float to other inpatient units when not needed in the NICU
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio or Compact state (must be in hand at time of submission)
- CPR and NRP certification
- Minimum 1 year NICU experience (2+ years preferred)
- Pediatric experience required
- Recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director
Required Clinical Skills
- Central line, PICC, and umbilical line competency
- Proficiency with all O₂ delivery methods: nasal cannula, high-flow, CPAP, NIV, and mechanical ventilation
- G-tube and tracheostomy experience preferred but not required
Education
- Associate degree required; BSN preferred
Facility Details
- Smoke-free facility and campus
- Dress code: Navy blue scrub top; navy blue or black scrub pants
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
Additional Information
Return staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler. Background checks subject to facility review.
