Labor & Delivery RN — Travel Contract | Augusta, GA

Shift: Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract Duration: 16 weeks | Start Date: November 2026

Clinical Scope includes:

• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating for C-sections
• Multiple births and high-risk antepartum care
• Postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension management
• of obstetric patients
• Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, antihypertensives, and insulin drips
• Internal/external fetal monitoring, IUPC placement, and amnioinfusion
• D&C, forceps/vacuum extraction, epidural and general anesthesia support
• Newborn care including APGAR scoring, thermoregulation, and NRP readiness

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Prior travel experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Charge experience preferred
• Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission

Scheduling & Logistics:

• Self-scheduling
• 3 weekend shifts per contract
• 2 on-call shifts required per 6-week period
• Float within scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission
• RTO blackout: Spring Break (April 4–12)
• Holiday work expectations apply; details provided at offer
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• 24-hour orientation; full compliance required prior to start
