Nuclear Medicine Technologist — Travel Contract
Location: Easley, SC | Shift: Days, 5×8 hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Duration: 13 weeks
This travel opportunity is based in a nuclear medicine department serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The department supports a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies in a fast-paced outpatient and inpatient environment.
Clinical Scope & Procedures:
- Cardiac nuclear studies including pharmacological and exercise stress testing (single and multiple day protocols), perfusion imaging
- HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, liver imaging, renal/perfusion studies
- Ventilation/perfusion (V/Q) studies, whole body imaging, I-123 uptake scans, DTPA aerosol
- Starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood
- Proper storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
- Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Active ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification; CNMT preferred
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of electronic health record experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
Float Policy:
Float to other qualified units or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs. Staff will only float to areas matching their demonstrated competencies.

- Scrub color: Hunter Green
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- 40-hour orientation (begins Mondays); pre-assignment modules required within 48 hours of system access
- Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate
