RN – Progressive Care Unit
Assignment Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 13-week night shift assignment beginning October 19, 2026.
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Frequency: 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Meal break: 30 minutes per shift
Clinical Scope
You will provide direct nursing care to patients transitioning from acute or critical care. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing post-surgical and medically complex patients
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Valid RN license (state of practice)
- Proven experience in PCU or intermediate care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
