Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll provide specialized nursing care for post-surgical and medically complex patients transitioning from acute or critical care settings.
Schedule
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total)
- Meal Duration: 30 minutes
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll work with patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care. Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating patient conditions
- Administering treatments and medications
- Coordinating care with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Supporting safe transitions from higher-acuity settings
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Proven experience in PCU or intermediate care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration
