Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll provide specialized nursing care to post-surgical and medically complex patients transitioning from acute or critical care settings.
Assignment Details
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to intermediate-acuity patients
- Manage post-surgical recovery and monitor medically complex conditions
- Administer treatments and evaluate patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety protocols
Requirements
- Current, valid RN license
- Proven experience in PCU or intermediate care environments
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently on night shift with on-call support available
