Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit on a 13-week contract. You'll provide skilled nursing care for post-surgical and medically complex patients transitioning from acute or critical care settings.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)
- 36 hours per week
- 30-minute meal break
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients requiring close monitoring
- Administer treatments and evaluate patient conditions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safe transitions from acute care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Proven experience in PCU, intermediate care, or step-down settings
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
