Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients with cancer. You'll work in an outpatient oncology setting, administering treatment using advanced equipment while collaborating closely with physicians and dosimetrists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients; select anatomic and technical parameters with precision
- Administer prescribed radiation doses according to individualized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of all therapy sessions
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators
- Ensure high-quality imaging and documentation submitted to PACS systems
- Uphold all regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department environment
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 4, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Credentials
- Current state Radiation Therapy License or Certificate
- Professional references and employment verification
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, Influenza
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit testing and health screening
- Background check and drug screening
