Interventional Radiology Nurse – Charleston, SC
Position Overview
Join the imaging department as an Interventional Radiology Nurse on a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care and moderate sedation support in a busy interventional radiology suite performing specialized procedures.
Schedule & Hours
- Monday–Friday rotational 8-hour shifts (7am–3:30pm, 8am–4:30pm, 9am–until cases complete on call days)
- Rotational call coverage on weekdays and weekends
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Administer moderate sedation across imaging departments (CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiology, and interventional radiology)
- Monitor patients during and after sedated procedures
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and the clinical team
- Float to other imaging departments as needed
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing school
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
- Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred
What to Expect
