Intensive Monitoring Care (IMC) Nurse – Night Shift

About the Role

Join the facility's adult IMC department as a night shift nurse (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll provide direct care to high-acuity patients in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously using ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other advanced equipment
  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments per physician orders with accuracy and timeliness
  • Recognize and respond promptly to patient condition changes and emergencies
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
  • Maintain strict infection control protocols
  • Stay current with IMC practices through continuing education
  • Mentor and precept new team members as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (Compact) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Assignment Details

  • Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: October 5, 2026
  • Guaranteed Hours: 3 weeks

Onboarding Requirements

Standard health assessments, required vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap, Varicella), TB screening, drug screening, criminal background check, and professional references.
