Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Intermediate Care Unit. You'll provide direct nursing care to high-acuity patients in a supportive team environment, working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Clinical Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients continuously using advanced medical equipment including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments according to physician orders.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
- Follow strict infection control protocols.
- Precept new nursing staff as needed.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical competency.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license (Compact accepted)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification

- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 weeks
