Operating Room Nurse – Orthopedic Surgery
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced OR nurse to join the operating room team. You'll support a high-volume orthopedic surgery service performing total joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and neurosurgical cases.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of direct OR experience
- Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, arthroscopic scopes, and neurosurgery
- Current RN license (valid in Georgia)
- OR certification preferred
What You'll Do
Circulate and scrub cases in a busy orthopedic OR environment. You'll work alongside an experienced surgical team managing joint replacements, arthroscopic procedures, and neurosurgical interventions. Responsibilities include patient positioning, instrument management, specimen handling, and adherence to surgical protocols.
