PACU Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

Join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as a travel nurse. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced recovery environment, monitoring patients as they wake from anesthesia and managing their immediate post-operative needs.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: PACU
• Location: Decatur, GA
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• Minimum 18 months of relevant nursing experience
• ACLS certification required

What to Expect

You'll monitor vital signs, manage pain and nausea, assess surgical sites, and prepare patients for discharge or transfer to inpatient units. This role demands strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
