Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical RN for a 13-week contract beginning September 11, 2026. You'll work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled (typically about half of total weekends). Guaranteed 36 hours per week with no call or standby requirement.

Unit Details

You'll care for acute medical-surgical patients with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, ia, cellulitis, urosepsis, acute kidney injury, and post-operative cases. The unit supports patients requiring telemetry monitoring (remotely watched by monitor technicians) and intermittent non-invasive ventilation support.

Staffing & Support

• Patient ratios: 1:6–7 (you must be comfortable with ratios up to 1:7)
• One charge RN on the floor with assignments
• PCTs available on the unit
• Floating as needed based on census; external travelers float first
• Navy blue scrubs

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• ADN acceptable (BSN not required)
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Valid driver's license required at submission
